Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g curd cheese, 20%
  • 250 g quark, 40%
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • ½ cucumber(s), green
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Milk, for dilution
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • Parsley, dried or fresh
  • Chives, dried or fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 18 hours; Total time approx. 18 hours 20 minutes

Combine the quark and sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the onion and grate the cucumber. Mix all ingredients together and crush in the garlic cloves. Thin the mixture with the milk until it’s quite creamy. Add the herbs, and you’re done. Let the whole thing steep for about 18-24 hours. Enjoy, and be careful, the sauce is addictive.
