smells and tastes fantastic

Peel the ginger root, cut it into thin slices (the more thin slices, the more surface area, the more active ingredients are released, and the stronger the flavor), and place it in a teapot. Boil the water, add the washed and slightly chopped peppermint, and simmer for a few minutes, then pour it over the ginger slices. Let the tea steep for at least 10 minutes. You can also let it steep for 15-20 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be. Sweeten with white sugar, cane sugar, rock candy, or honey, but it also tastes very good unsweetened. Tip: You can also add cinnamon and coriander instead of peppermint, or just water and lemon.
