Rooibos iced tea

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1.6 liters of water
  • 4 tea bags (rooibos tea)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp elderflower syrup
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • dash of lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

Boil water and pour into a pitcher. Add rooibos tea and mint. Let it steep for about 8 minutes. Remove tea bags and sprigs. Add sugar, syrup, and lemon juice. Refrigerate overnight. Add more sweetener if desired.
