Ginger-turmeric tea

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 30 g ginger root
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 liter of boiling water
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Slice the cleaned ginger root, place it in a teapot, and pour boiling water over it. Add the turmeric and honey, stir, and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Stir again before drinking, as the turmeric powder will settle to the bottom of the teapot. It’s very good for colds in the winter, but also delicious as a breakfast tea.
