Gingerbread

The perfect gingerbread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Flour
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 200 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 1 teaspoon Clove powder
  • 3 teaspoon Ginger bread spice
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 150 g Liquid butter
  • 3 tablespoon Honey
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 pack Chocolate cake icing
  • Colorful sprinkles
  1. Mix flour – sugar – nuts – clove powder – gingerbread spice – vanilla sugar and baking powder well in a bowl
  2. Add milk – liquid butter – honey and eggs and mix into a batter. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake at 200 degrees top / bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
  4. After the cake has cooled down, coat the cake with icing. Sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
