Gitti's pumpkin pizza

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 serving of pizza dough
  • 200 g sour cream or herb cream
  • 700 g Hokkaido pumpkin(s)
  • 3 apples
  • 1 large onion(s), red
  • 1 bunch chives or mixed frozen herbs
  • 70 g diced ham
  • 150 g Emmental or mountain cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Wash the pumpkin, quarter it, remove the seeds, and slice it into thin wedges. Wash the apples, quarter it, remove the cores, and dice it. Thinly slice the onion. Mix the sour cream with the herbs and spread it on the pizza dough. Top with the pumpkin, apples, onions, and ham. Sprinkle with cheese. Place the pizza in the hot oven for about 25 minutes. After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180°C (350°F), depending on your oven.
