Glazed Cocoa Cake

The perfect glazed cocoa cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 140 g Soft butter
  • 140 g Sugar
  • 1 pack Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 270 g Flour
  • 0,5 pack Baking powder
  • 30 g Cocoa powder
  • 125 ml Milk
  • Glaze:
  • 50 g Cooking chocolate
  • 50 g Butter
  1. Mix the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Separate eggs. Stir the yolk into the mixture. Mix flour with baking powder and slowly stir in alternately with milk and cocoa. Beat egg whites to stiff snow and fold. Pour the dough into a greased, floured loaf pan (30 cm) and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. For the glaze, melt the chocolate with butter while stirring. Pour it over the cooled cake and spread it well with a pastry brush.
