Gnocchi gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g gnocchi from the refrigerated section
  • Water (salt water)
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 150 ml milk
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 3 egg yolks
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g tomatoes, small
  • 80 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain, let it drain, and place in a greased ovenproof dish. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and chop it. Whisk it with the milk, mascarpone, and egg yolks. Chop the ham and add it. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle it over the gnocchi. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Spread them over the gnocchi. Grate the Gouda cheese, sprinkle it on top, and bake everything in the oven for about 15 minutes.
