Gnocchi, tomato and chili pan with turkey strips

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 chili pepper(s) or a pepper, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some butter
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 ml
  • 400 g turkey strips
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 400 g gnocchi, fresh
  • 1 handful of basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and finely dice the chili or pepperoni, onion, and garlic. Melt the butter in a pan and briefly fry the onions and garlic. Add the passata and chili or pepperoni and bring to a boil. Then add the cream and the shredded turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Add the fresh gnocchi to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Finally, remove the pan from the heat and garnish with the fresh basil. Tip: If you like it even hotter, leave the chili seeds in and fry the chili cubes with the onions and garlic.
