  • 1 large can of tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 300 g turkey meat
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili pepper(s)
  • oregano
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 ml cream
  • 100 g Parmesan, grated
  • olive oil
  • possibly white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Family recipe

First, prepare the gnocchi according to the package instructions and drain in a colander. In the meantime, fry the chopped onions in olive oil in a pan until translucent, then add the canned tomatoes. If the tomatoes aren’t already chunky, simply mash them in the pan and break them up a bit. Now add the diced turkey. If there’s not enough liquid, add a little wine or water. Cover and let the meat simmer over low heat until cooked through. Then season; this can be adjusted to your taste. Just be careful with the salt, as the Parmesan will be added later! When the meat is cooked, remove the lid and add the cream and gnocchi, bring back to a boil, and then turn off the heat. Add the Parmesan, stir everything together, and serve.
