Gnocchi with minced meat and mushrooms in tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g gnocchi (refrigerated section)
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 250 g mushrooms, cleaned and quartered
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 3 large tomatoes, washed and diced
  • 5 tbsp tomato paste
  • some water if needed
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • basil
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

quick and easy

Heat the oil in a large pan. First add the onion, then the minced meat and fry. Lightly season with salt. Add the quartered mushrooms to the minced meat in the pan and season well with paprika, basil, and marjoram. Fry for about 2-3 minutes, then add about 5 tablespoons of tomato paste and a little water, if desired, and stir in. Add the gnocchi and tomatoes. Cover and simmer over low to medium heat until the tomatoes are tender and falling apart. Season with salt, pepper, and basil, and serve.
