Gnocchi with sage and shrimp

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g potato gnocchi
  • Sage, fresh leaves, amount as desired
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • olive oil
  • 125 g shrimp tails, blanched, peeled and glazed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the gnocchi in boiling salted water and let them simmer until they float to the top. Pour into a sieve, rinse with cold water, and set aside. Quickly fry the prawn tails in olive oil, season with salt, and add 1 chopped garlic clove. Be careful not to cook at too high a temperature or for too long, or the garlic will taste bitter and the prawns will become tough! Thinly slice the chili pepper and the second garlic clove, strip the sage leaves, and gently heat everything together in olive oil, seasoning with salt. Add the gnocchi and quickly reheat while stirring. Plate the gnocchi, top with the prawns, oil, and garlic, and serve sprinkled with freshly ground pepper.
