Goat cheese with bacon and honey on ciabatta

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) ciabatta, finger-thick
  • 8 slices of goat’s cheese
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sautéed thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Place the ciabatta slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and then bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 5 minutes. Wrap the goat cheese in the bacon. Remove the ciabatta from the oven and spread the cheese and bacon on the slices. Brush the cheese and bacon with honey and season each with a pinch of thyme. Bake the sheet in the oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is soft and the bacon is crispy.
