Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 30 g margarine
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 70 g cheese, grated Gouda
  • 2 pinches of baking powder
  • 1 egg yolk, for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, bring the milk to a boil with the margarine, salt, and paprika. Then pour in the flour all at once and stir until a ball forms from the bottom of the pan. Then gradually stir in the eggs and grated cheese. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe small rosettes onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Finally, brush with egg yolk and bake at medium heat at approximately 175°C for 20 minutes until golden brown.
