Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 ½ kg beef or pork or mixed
- 5 red bell peppers
- 5 onions
- 2 ½ liters of water
- 8 tsp broth, granulated
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ tsp sambal oelek
- salt and pepper
- some sauce thickener
- possibly mushrooms
- some oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the meat into small cubes, dice the onion, and dice the bell pepper. Season the meat with salt and pepper and sear it in a little oil. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté briefly. Add the water and the granulated stock and simmer gently for about 1 hour. Then add the tomato paste and sambal oelek. Mix well and thicken slightly with a sauce thickener. Mushrooms can be added if desired. Then fry about 250g of the meat with the onions. I serve it with sliced dark brown bread.
