Goulash Soup party Recipe

The perfect goulash soup party recipe recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1500 g Leg of beef
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Bacon
  • 5 piece Garlic cloves
  • 5 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon (level) Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon (level) Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Sweet paprika
  • 2 piece Bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 500 g Sieved tomatos
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 5 Tablespoon (level) Potato flour for binding
  • 2500 ml. Beef broth (from stock)
  • Or a good quality from the glass
  • 10 piece Eggs
  • 250 g Pancake strips
  1. It is important to let the meat drip off in a sieve for about 1 hour at room temperature right at the beginning.
  2. While doing this, prepare all the other ingredients. Remove the rind from the bacon and dice finely. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Fry large “pancakes” from flour, eggs, a dash of mineral water, pepper and salt and a little baking soda (light blonde), then roll up and let cool. As soon as they have cooled, cut them into fine strips and place them loosely in a bowl. Boil the 10 eggs named in the list of ingredients for 8 minutes and then cut them into slices.
  3. Wash the meat, which has been brought to room temperature, (pat dry), cut into approx. 1.5 cm cubes and rub in the listed spices. Fry the bacon in oil. Add the onions, then sauté the garlic and everything until translucent. Now add the meat, sear it briefly (do not fry it – there shouldn’t be any great roasted aromas. Check all the spices again – they should now be in the soup.
  4. Pour in the beef stock and then let it simmer covered for about 30 minutes over low heat. Note = If you like, you can also replace part of the beef broth with a red wine. However, it is important to only do this if no children are taking part in the meal.
  5. Clean the peppers and cut into 1 cm cubes and add to the meat together with the tomatoes, simmer for another 30 minutes. Mix the cornstarch with a little water to add to the soup. Bring everything to the boil again and season to taste.
  6. Fill the soup into soup bowls and serve with the pancake strips, some tomato chips and egg slices. A bit of chives gives the soup a pretty face. I like to serve freshly baked bread with this soup. Bon appetit and have fun cooking at home.

Bon appetit and culinary greetings your Biggi ♥
