Goulash Soup with Thermomix
The perfect goulash soup with thermomix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Also:
- 2 Pc. Onion
- 400 g Wild boar stew
- 20 g Butter
- 200 g Sweet potatoes or potatoes
- 1 Pc. Red pepper
- 1 Pc. Yellow pepper
- 1 pole Leek
- 30 g Tomato paste
- 50 g Red wine
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 750 g Meat broth or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Cumin, ground
- 1 tsp Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0,5 tsp Coarsely ground pepper
- 1 tsp Freshly grated lemon peel
- Although the list of ingredients reads for a long time, the preparation is very quick. Chop the peeled garlic in a mixing bowl for 3 seconds / speed 8. Halve the peeled onions and chop for 6 seconds / speed 5.
- Dice the meat relatively small, approx. 1 – 2 cm in size. Fry together with the butter in the mixing bowl for 5 minutes / Varoma or 120 degrees / counterclockwise / speed 1. In the meantime, peel and dice the potatoes as desired. Chop the peppers and leek as well. Put the prepared vegetables together with the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and cook for 35 minutes / 100 degrees / counterclockwise / speed 1.
- Finally stir in the lemon zest for 8 seconds / speed 2 / counterclockwise. Season again and season if necessary, then serve. This fits z. B. Spaetzle, or just some fresh bread. It looks great when you hollow out small round loaves of bread and serve the soup in them.
- As a variation, you can also use beef instead of wild boar. You can also leave out the leeks without replacing them, then increase the amount of potatoes to 300 – 350 g. For a vegetarian option e.g. Use soy shredded meat instead of meat or possibly tofu (but I haven’t tried it yet).
- Please always observe the maximum capacity of the container! Of course, the goulash can also be prepared without the Thermomix. Simply in a large saucepan on the stove, stirring occasionally.
