Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • Fat, for the shape
  • 1 ½ kg apples, sour
  • 150 g white sugar
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Lemon juice, for drizzling
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for the springform pan

Peel and core the apples, and cut into small pieces. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Mix the pieces with the sugars and cinnamon and bring to a simmer on the stovetop. In the meantime, prepare the pastry with all the ingredients and line the greased springform pan. Form a 2 to 3 cm high edge to prevent the filling from running out. Prick the pastry base several times with a fork and pre-bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. For the crumble topping, mix all the ingredients together well. Remove the base from the oven, add the filling, spread the crumble topping over the top, and bake at the same temperature for another 20 to 30 minutes.
