Grandma’s Best Egg Liqueur Cake

The perfect grandma’s best egg liqueur cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 5 Pc. Eggs
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 80 ml Sunflower oil
  • 100 g Chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Advocaat
  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Almond flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

For the topping:

  • 300 ml Cream
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cream stiffener
  • 2 tbsp Advocaat

Preparation of the dough:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave and let it cool down. Preheat the oven. Whisk the eggs with the sugar, add sunflower oil, melted chocolate and eggnog.
  2. Whisk the almond flour, flour and baking powder with the liquid ingredients. Spread the dough in a springform pan and bake for about 60 minutes at 160 ° C.

Preparation of the topping:

  1. During the baking time, whip the cream until stiff, pouring in the sugar and cream stiffener.
