Grandma's eggnog cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 180 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate shavings
  • 1 cup eggnog

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cream the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy. While whisking, add the eggs and vanilla sugar. Combine the flour and baking powder and fold into the mixture. Finally, fold in the egg liqueur and grated chocolate. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake at about 180°C for about one hour (test with a toothpick). The cake will keep well for several days without drying out. Note: One cup of our cake is about 200 ml.
