Ingredients for 20 servings:
- 375 g flour
- 225 g sugar
- 250 g butter
- 125 g cornstarch
- 125 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 6 tbsp rum
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Beat the sugar, vanilla sugar, and butter until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs and mix well. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cornstarch, then stir in the milk a spoonful at a time. Combine both batters and pour half into a greased bundt pan. Mix the other half with the cocoa and rum. Pour this dark mixture onto the light mixture in the pan and lightly fold in with a fork to create a marbled pattern. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 45 minutes.
