The grape seed oil also suitable for frying
Grape seed oil comes in two varieties – cold pressed and hot pressed.
- The cold-pressed variant is not only healthier but also more flavorful – however, the cold-pressed grape seed oil is significantly more expensive.
- The good grape seed oil has a fine and nutty taste. That is why it is often used to refine sauces and dips as well as for dressing salads.
- The smoke point is around 200 degrees.
- Therefore, you can also fry it with grapeseed oil and even sear meat with it at a high temperature.
