Grapefruit – Pineapple Jam

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 600 g grapefruit(s), fillets thereof
  • 350 g pineapple, chopped
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Place the weighed grapefruit segments and pineapple wedges in a sufficiently large saucepan and blend thoroughly with a hand blender. Then stir in the gelling sugar and bring to a boil while stirring. Boil gently for 3 minutes, then pour into prepared, boiled twist-off jars. Seal the jars, and you’re done! This yields approximately 5 jars, each with a capacity of 250 ml.
