Gratinated minute steaks on tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes (850 ml)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500 g broccoli
  • Water (salt water)
  • 8 steak(s) (minute steaks)
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Sugar
  • 125g mozzarella
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Roughly puree the tomatoes and tomato paste in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes. Divide the broccoli into small florets and cook in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Heat the oil and briefly fry the meat. Drain the broccoli, rinse in cold water and drain well. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and sugar. Pour the sauce into a baking dish. Place the broccoli and meat on top. Drain the mozzarella well, roughly dice it and sprinkle it on top. Bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat: 200°C, fan: 175°C, gas mark 3) for about 15 minutes. Serve garnished with basil.
