Greek meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • 1 large can of tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • ½ tbsp thyme
  • ½ tbsp rosemary
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onions and cook in the butter until translucent. Add the ground beef and brown, stirring constantly. Add the white wine, diced tomatoes, and finely chopped parsley. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and the crushed garlic cloves. Cover and simmer over low heat for 40-60 minutes. The finished sauce should have a slightly thick consistency. If it’s too thin, reduce it a little further in an uncovered pan.
