Greek mince – cabbage

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pointed cabbage
  • 500 g minced meat
  • ½ jar olives
  • ¼ jar capers
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion(s)
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Minced meat – feta – cabbage – pan

Wash and trim the pointed cabbage, and cut into strips about 1 cm wide. Cook the cabbage in salted water for about 10 minutes, until tender. Meanwhile, finely chop the olives, capers, onion, and garlic. Brown with the minced meat in a little olive oil. When the cabbage is cooked, add it to the minced meat and mix. Add the feta cheese and a generous splash of olive oil (about 3 tablespoons). Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and paprika. Briefly fry everything and serve hot with fresh bread.
