Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g minced beef
  • 4 large green bell peppers, stems removed and pitted
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 50 g green olives stuffed with peppers
  • 50 g capers, finely chopped
  • 75 g sultanas
  • 1 tsp red chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 250 ml tomato puree
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Spanish style

In a pan, brown the minced meat with onion, olives, capers, and garlic until the meat is thoroughly cooked. Add the sultanas, chili pepper, and tomato puree and season with salt. Simmer uncovered until the liquid has almost evaporated. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Fill the peppers with the minced meat mixture and place in a baking dish. Add half a cup of water to the dish and let the peppers cook for about 1 hour.
