Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg pork neck
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • some vegetable oil (rapeseed, sunflower or olive oil)
  • 1 lemon(s), juice, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the pork neck into very small cubes and then skewer it on wooden skewers. Don’t place it too tightly, though, or the meat won’t cook through quickly and may be too brown on the outside. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and oregano and brush with vegetable oil. Place the skewers on the grill and cook until the outside is nicely browned. You can also squeeze lemon juice over them at the end. Serve the skewers with pita bread and tzatziki.
