  • 800 g pork fillet(s)
  • 8 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tbsp oregano, freshly chopped
  • salt and pepper

Pork skewers are particularly delicious when the pieces are cut thicker than those used for lamb and veal skewers. The meat itself should be lean. Cut the pork fillet into 4 cm cubes. For the marinade, mix the olive oil with the lemon juice and add the oregano and pepper. Let the pieces of meat marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry. Thread the meat onto oiled wooden skewers and grill on all sides, brushing them with the marinade. After grilling, salt the skewers and serve hot. Serve the remaining marinade on the side. Serve with tzatziki and flatbread or rice.
