Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp oregano, dried
  • 1 tbsp parsley, dried
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 tsp thyme, dried
  • 2 tbsp mint, dried
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Clean and deseed the bell peppers, then dice them. Dry in a preheated oven at 100°C for about 45 minutes. Peel and slice the garlic cloves and dry in the oven for about 20 minutes. Roughly grind the bell peppers and garlic cloves together with the other spices in a spice grinder. Store in an airtight jar. Use with meat, sauces, dips, or salads. Meat: Rub 1-2 tablespoons into 4 tablespoons of oil into the meat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, then fry in a pan. Sauce: Stir in about 250 ml of the oil into the sauce, bring to a boil, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Dip: Mix 200 g of quark, cream cheese, or yogurt with 2 tablespoons of the spice mix. Salad: For a salad serving about 4 people, use 2 tablespoons and sprinkle over the salad. Note: All dishes should be salted as needed.
