Green asparagus in a Parma coating

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 stalk(s) asparagus, green
  • 4 slices of Parma ham
  • Balsamic vinegar (Crema di Balsamic vinegar)
  • 10 tomatoes, cocktail tomatoes
  • Parmesan, in a piece
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious and effective starter

Remove the woody ends of the asparagus, about 1-2 cm. Brown in a non-stick pan on level 4 of 5 for about 8-10 minutes on all sides, adding the halved cocktail tomatoes 2 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange two slices of Parma ham side by side on large plates. Place three asparagus spears on each and wrap them around the slices. Distribute the tomatoes. Pour the balsamic vinegar over the top in waves. Sprinkle with coarsely shaved Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
