Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 12 stalk(s) asparagus, green
- 12 slices of bacon
- 3 tbsp oil for frying
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 40 g butter
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes
Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and boil the spears in salted water for 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the asparagus in batches for about 4 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Melt the butter and add the lemon juice. Serve the asparagus spears and drizzle with the lemon butter. Sprinkle with pepper and parsley.
