Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • 400 g beans, green, preferably fresh or from the can
  • 2 large carrots
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 dash of cream
  • some flour
  • Fat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pre-cook the green beans in salted water for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and dice the potatoes, cut the onions into large wedges, and dice the carrots. Sauté the onions and potatoes in a little fat, add the carrots and pre-cooked green beans. Dust everything with flour and deglaze with the broth, milk, and cream. Simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
