Green bean soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp diced ham
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 450 g beans, green, frozen
  • 1 jar beef stock, 400 ml
  • 400 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • savory
  • Café de Paris (spice)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Dice the onion. Sauté the diced onion and ham in olive oil. Pre-cook the green beans in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Briefly sauté the chopped potatoes and carrots. Add the beef stock and water and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Add the spices and finally season with pepper. Add the green beans and season to taste. Serve with chopped Rotwurst sausage and a slice of rustic bread.
