Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 can/n beans each 800 g drained weight
- 400 g sausage (lung sausage)
- 60 g bacon
- 450 g potatoes, diced
- 3 medium-sized onions, diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 ½ liters of broth (meat or vegetable broth)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp savory
- 1 tsp parsley
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Brown diced onion, bacon (3 strips, 20 g each), and sliced lung sausage in clarified butter. Add the beans (entire can), broth, sliced carrots, salt, pepper, savory, parsley, and bay leaf. Simmer for 25 minutes, then add the diced potatoes and simmer for another 25 minutes. Season to taste.
