Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg carrot(s)
- 750 g beans, green
- 750 ml vinegar (wine vinegar)
- 500 g sugar
- 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 2 pieces of ginger
- 1 tsp white pepper
- Salt

Preserved, tastes wonderfully like Christmas
Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into 1/2-inch cubes. Trim the ends of the beans and cut them into 1-inch pieces. Boil the vegetables in salted water for about 20 minutes, then skim off the excess water with a slotted spoon and fill jars (Twistoff 440 ml). Add the remaining ingredients to the stock, bring to a boil, and cover the vegetables. Seal the jars immediately. It can be eaten as a quick salad or heated with boiled beef or braised meat.
