Green beans with herb crumbs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g beans, green, frozen or fresh
  • 1 sprig(s) savory
  • some butter
  • n. B. Salt
  • 15 g butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped herbs, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • n. B. Herb salt and pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Place the beans and savory in a pot of salted water. Cover. Bring the beans to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes, until they still have a slight bite. While the beans are cooking, heat the butter in a pan. Add the breadcrumbs and herbs and fry until golden brown. Stir frequently and season with herb salt and pepper. Drain the bean water using the lid. Remove the savory. Stir a knob of butter into the beans and perhaps season with a little more salt. To serve, sprinkle the beans with the herb crumbs.
