Green beans with onions and Black Forest ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 150 g Black Forest ham
  • 20 g butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim and wash fresh green beans, cook in salted water until al dente, then rinse briefly under cold running water. Dice the onion. Finely chop the Black Forest ham, fry in a pan, and cook until crispy. Add the butter and diced onion and fry everything together until the onions are translucent. Mix with the beans and season with pepper and salt, if desired. It also tastes delicious served lukewarm.
