Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 kiwis
  • 1 apple (e.g. Boskop or similar)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 ml apple juice
  • 1 pinch of clove powder
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp apple juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

from Kiwis

Peel and dice the kiwis and apple. Bring to a boil in a saucepan along with apple juice, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of clove powder. Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch with the lemon juice and apple juice. Remove the pan from the heat and add the mixed cornstarch. Bring back to a boil briefly. Let cool slightly and then pour into serving bowls or dessert glasses. Vanilla sauce or whipped cream goes very well with this. Tips: You can also use wine instead of apple juice. You can also vary the way you mix the cornstarch – if you like it sweeter, use more tablespoons of apple juice instead of lemon juice.
