Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green
  • 4 onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
  • 1 shot of vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Braised green beans

Break the beans into pieces. Dice the onions and sauté them with the parsley in the oil until soft. Strain through a sieve, add them to the pot, and add the beans with the salt and pepper. Add enough water to cover the beans with the onion sauce. Cook the beans for 30 minutes, seasoning with vinegar to taste. Melt the butter. Brown the breadcrumbs in it and pour over the vegetables.
