Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • Oil for frying
  • 300 g edamame, peeled, frozen
  • 450 g peas, frozen
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g romaine lettuce, cut into strips
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with peas, edamame and romaine lettuce

Peel and dice the onion, and sauté it in a little oil. Add the frozen vegetables. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and cook for about 10 minutes. Then add the crème fraîche and the lettuce. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with basil. Serve with baguette and pan-fried meat. Tip: The vegetables also work well as a sauce for pasta, but use more vegetable stock and crème fraîche.
