Grilled bananas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the bananas lengthwise with a sharp knife, leaving the stems intact. Cut off the top halves of the bananas (also lengthwise). Cut the Gouda into appropriate pieces, top the bottom halves with them, and season with paprika. Place the top halves on top and reseal the skins. Secure with a toothpick, if desired. Grill for 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
