Grilled calamari tubes

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 calamari tubes
  • 3 garlic cloves, squeezed
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon(s), zest and juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 small bunch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

Score the calamari tubes on both sides with a sharp knife. Tip: Push a large knife into the tube to avoid cutting through. Make the marinade from crushed garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Lightly oil the calamari and grill for about 1.5 minutes on each side. Dip them in the marinade and continue grilling for another 1.5 minutes on each side. Until the desired color is reached. Drizzle some of the marinade and the chopped parsley over the calamari on the plate.
