Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large eggplant(s)
  • Salt from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 9 minutes

natural and salted

Wash the eggplant and cut into slices about 4 mm thick. Season generously on both sides, preferably with salt from a salt mill. Let it rest for at least 1 hour, until large drops of water have oozed from the eggplant. Grill the eggplant slices for a few minutes on each side.
