Grilled nectarines with ice cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 6 nectarines, halved and pitted
  • 3 tbsp honey (45 ml)
  • 2 limes, juice
  • 500 ml ice cream (vanilla ice cream)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Grill dessert, quickly conjured up!

In a small bowl, mix the honey and lime juice well. Brush the honey all over the cut sides of the nectarines. Oil the grill rack and place the nectarines cut-side down on the rack. Grill until the fruit is hot and lightly browned on the bottom, which should take no more than 2-3 minutes. Serve the nectarines immediately while they’re hot, with a scoop of ice cream in the center of each one. Tip: You can also just brush the nectarines with honey; it will caramelize beautifully.
