Grilled chocolate banana

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 1 bar of chocolate of your choice (e.g. milk chocolate)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

so simple, so wonderful

After the main grilling, place the unpeeled bananas on the still-hot grill and wait until the underside is shiny black (it doesn’t look pretty, but it’s just the skin…). Then turn the banana over and cut lengthwise with a sharp knife, cutting halfway down the banana’s length depending on its thickness. Tip: some of the skin should still be holding it together at both ends. Now simply break the chocolate bar into small pieces and fill the slit in the banana with them. Wait a moment until the chocolate has melted and serve, if desired, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some eggnog (for the adults), or whatever your heart desires, on a plate with a small spoon and cake fork.
