- 8 large potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Thyme

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
not just for grilling
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them deeply all over with a fork. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with thyme, and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap each potato individually in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 220°C for about 60 minutes (depending on the size of the potatoes). Serve with grilled meat, grilled vegetables, or homemade herring. Or simply with tzatziki, herb curd, or herb butter.
