Grilled Turkey Rolls with Basil Pesto

The perfect grilled turkey rolls with basil pesto recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

The pesto

  • 3 Discs Cooked ham
  • 1 pot Basil
  • 50 g Pine nuts
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 60 ml Olive oil
  • 1 Splash Lemon concentrate

Dressing for the colorful salad

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh oregano
  • Fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp Forest honey liquid
  1. Pluck the basil leaves, wash and pat dry. Cut the garlic cloves into strips. Toast the pine nuts. Finely chop the basil, pine nuts, garlic, sugar and pine nuts in a tall mug with a hand blender. Add the olive oil until a “homogeneous” mixture is obtained. Season to taste with the lemon juice.
  2. Beat the turkey schnitzel flat. Put the boiled ham on the schnitzel and brush with the pesto. Roll up into a roulade and secure with the wooden skewers.
  3. Prepare the grill and grill the turkey rolls on both sides for about 15 minutes, turning them regularly.
  4. Mix the dressing and serve with a colorful salad.
  5. Season the diagonally cut bread by the meter with herb butter and grill it in aluminum foil as well. Serve everything and “Enjoy your meal”.
