Ingredients

  • 350 g Flour
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 100 g Raisins
  • 100 g Cooking chocolate
  • 50 g Grated hazelnuts
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Butter to grease
  • Icing sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Soak the raisins in rum or warm water for a quarter of an hour and break the cooking chocolate into small pieces. In a larger bowl, stir in the sugar, butter and gradually stir in the eggs, stir in the salt, flour, baking powder, raisins, hazelnuts and the chocolate pieces and let the dough rest for about half an hour.
  • Sprinkle the Guglhupf tin well greased with butter with breadcrumbs (creates a crust) and spoon the batter into the tin. Bake in the preheated oven at 170 ° for about 50 minutes. In the knitting needle test, nothing should stick to the inserted needle when it is pulled out. The finished cake is turned over and left to cool.
