Gyro pizza

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of pizza dough from the refrigerated section
  • ½ jar tomato peppers
  • 1 bag of cheese (Gouda or Emmental), grated
  • 1 kg pork (shredded) seasoned gyros style, with onions etc.
  • tomato sauce
  • e.g. Tzatziki
  • Paprika powder
  • Pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, fry the pork in a pan. Then, roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and spread it with a thin layer of tomato sauce. Next, spread the grated cheese on the pizza. Now spread the meat generously on the pizza, along with the tomato and peppers. Dollop the tzatziki on top (preferably with a teaspoon) and sprinkle another thin layer of grated cheese on top. Finally, season with paprika and pizza seasoning, if desired, and bake in the oven. For temperature and baking time, follow the package instructions for the pizza dough.
